Are you ready for another great kitchen makeover? We’re heading to Quispamsis, just outside of Saint John, NB, for this one.
Darryl & Janice Ford found Avondale through friends who have also worked with with us for renovation projects. Jim, our lead designer stopped into their home in September, 2015 to help out with designs. In a one to two hour sit-down, the layout and hand drawings were finished, measurements were complete, and prices were quoted. Here is the preliminary hand-drawing, Jim whipped up for the homeowners.

The homeowners upgraded from a light oak kitchen with ceramic countertops, to a painted Simply White, shaker kitchen, with granite, affording them a bright and modern new space. Bulk head was removed and replaced with a two part crown to the ceiling. Notice the new projected window, resting on the counter, adding space and light to the kitchen.
The Homeowners opened to open up the wall between the kitchen and the dining room to create a fluid space. See how both rooms are completely separate in the before pictures:
After, the wall has been significantly opened to allow a combination of both rooms.. A breath of fresh air between kitchen and dining.
