We have an absolutely stunning kitchen makeover for you today, from the home of Ronnie and Sandra Black, just outside of Woodstock, NB. Homeowners were ready to take their original plywood cupboards to the next level, and replace with a set of fresh white cabinets.
Let’s take a look at our before shot, where the original cabinets and peninsula create a divided kitchen space:
In a 1.5 hour at-home design consultation, floor plans and designs are drawn up:
And voila! Moving the stove to the corner takes care of a tricky area, eliminating the need for a lazy Susan. Notice the large window brought down to the counter

The peninsula has been removed, and an island is implemented for extra seating, counter space and storage. A better flow is created, making the space feel more open:

A closet has been removed, and replaced with the enclosed refrigerator. A pass-through has been added to create a more open feel between the kitchen and living room:
Beautiful seamless laminate counters with a Corian edge and undermounted granite sink give the illusion of marble. Large soft close drawers are perfect of dishes and cutlery.
Two large pantries provide an enormous amount of storage for dried goods and accessories:
A large spice insert next to the stove keeps small jars within reach:
A lift up toaster garage gives easy access to small appliances, keeping the main counters neat and tidy:
