Modern Makeover for Family Home

Today’s kitchen makeover comes from the home of Bob and Kim Delong, of Saint John, NB.  The homeowners started out with a sturdy set of oak cabinets, but were ready to bring in the light!  Sit back and enjoy this beautiful transformation.

Let’s have a look at the existing kitchen, pre-renovation:

Bob and Kim sat down with Jim at Avondale to map out the new design.  The general layout remained very similar with a few updated tweaks:

Let’s go over a few of the accessories included in the kitchen, starting with the high volume garbage can.  A handy spot to keep recycling and trash, keeping the garbage bin off of the floor:

Heavy duty soft close slides allow for deep drawers to keep heavy pots and pans:

Cutlery and spice inserts keep everything in order and at hand, making it easy to stay organized:

Pull out shelves above the fridge, standard with an Avondale Kitchen, make reaching those occasionally used items just a bit easier.
